The coastal sides in some cities become the opportunity both for those getting rid of miscellaneous urbanisational matters and building infrustructures and facilities for the possible recreational areas in there. The tourists using coastal sides initially describe these parts with their visual perspectives. These perspectives create various demands and desires on tourists so as to opt for using coastal regions over again. Therefore, visual quality is significant on coastal parts of cities. In this paper, the regions between Donanma Tea House and Military Base in Çanakkale are separated in four zones and each part is not only researched for study but 50 people living in these zones are also surveyed with questionnaire method. Study tried to find that how visual quality effect of coastal areas influences the demands and desires of tourists, why visitors enjoy to spend time on coastal lines and this paper may provide a help for next similar works. © Peter Lang GmbH Internationaler Verlag der Wissenschaften Berlin 2021 All rights reserved.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessCoastal line; Coastal side; Urbanisational landscape; Visual quality; ÇanakkaleExamining the Visual Quality in Environment Choices: The Sample of Coastal Usage in Çanakkale (Between Donanma Tea House and Military Base)Book Chapter4534802-s2.0-85179220394N/A
