While the high-energy implications are perplexing, eclipses, of various forms, allow practical tests to be made. LAGEOS satellite anomalies may provide relevant evidence. But other possible, eclipse-related, data avenues may allow better numerical evaluations of the Laplace absorption parameter (h).
