Fettahlıoğlu, PınarTimur, SerkanTimur, Betül2025-01-272025-01-2720161306-3065https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12428/14132The aim of this study is to conduct a research under circumstances of Turkey about the validity and reliability of the Affective Tendencies towards Environmental Scale prepared by Yavetz, Goldman and Pe’er (2009). The translation of this scale to Turkish was done by the researchers and language specialists. And then, the scale was evaluated by the specialists in terms of relevance to Turkish content, measurement- evaluation. This scale on which some arrangements were made was applied to 521 fourth grade preservice science teachers studying in the state universities in Turkey to determine the validity and reliability. The findings related to the structure validity of the scale were provided by exploratory factor analysis method. Also, exploratory factor analysis was followed by the confirmatory factor analysis applied to the obtained structure. This scale is formed into four sub dimensions. The scale prepared by the 5-point Likert format containing 23 items.
