Zira, Sepetçioğlu’nun ilk kalem tecrübeleri hikâye vadisinde olmuştur. O, her ne kadar 1970’li yıllardan sonra daha çok roman yazsa da Sepetçioğlu’nun edebî hayatının ilk safhasında hikâyenin önemli bir yeri vardır. Sepetçioğlu’nun iki adet hikâye kitabı bulunmaktadır. Bazı hikâyeleri de çeşitli dergi ve gazete sayfalarında kalmıştır. Tebliğimizde söz konusu hikâyeler; tema, öykü unsurları, anlatım teknikleri açısından incelenmiştir. His first attempts in literature were in the lane of story writing. Although he mostly wrote novels after 1970, story writing took a major place in his first phases of his literary life. There are two story books that he wrote. Some of his stories were published in various journals and periodicals. In this study, his stories are examined according to their themes, story elements and narration styles.
