The deformity, which had been present but asymptomatic for the past 4 years, began to enlarge and cause discomfort. The measured IPJ angle on anteroposterior standing X-ray was 26°. We treated the toe by medial closing wedge osteotomy and fixation with a double compression headless bone screw (DCHBS). Postoperative hallux valgus interphalangeus (HVI) angle was 14°.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAdolescent; Bone Screws; Female; Hallux Valgus; Humans; Metatarsophalangeal Joint; Osteotomy; adolescent; Article; bone screw; case report; double compression headless bone screw; exercise; female; follow up; foot radiography; hallux valgus; human; incision; interphalangeal joint; juvenile hallux valgus interphalangeus; medial closed wedge osteotomy; osteotomy; outcome assessment; priority journal; range of motion; weight bearing; hallux valgus; metatarsophalangeal joint; procedures; radiographyTreatment of juvenile hallux valgus interphalangeus with a double compression headless bone screwArticle201510.1136/bcr-2015-2102042-s2.0-8494129968226243744Q2
