The receptor, effectively and selectively, recognized and distinguished the biologically important F- from other anions such as Cl-, Br-, I- etc. in DMSO. This selectivity could be easily observed by the naked eye, indicating that receptor is potential colorimetric sensor for fluoride ion.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessphthaloyl dichloridebisthioureaanion receptorUV-Vis titrationN,N?-Bis-(4-nitrophenylcarbamothioyl)phthalamideArticle410.3390/M809N/AWOS:0004155110000022-s2.0-84885945608Q4
