| dc.description.abstract | Soyutlama zihinsel bir işlem olarak, insanoğlunun algılama ve bilgi sürecinde ihtiyaç duyduğu bir özelliktir. Bu nedenle soyutlama sanatın başlangıcından beri vardır. Fakat soyutlamanın sanat eserinin bir özelliği olarak tartışılması daha çok modernizmin bir getirisidir. Soyutlama kavramının resim sanatındaki yansımaları farklı yönlerde kendini göstermiştir. Bazı sanatçılar rengin olanakları üzerine araştırmalar yaparken bazı sanatçılar geleneksel tekniklerin dışında, farklı malzeme ve teknikler ile yapıtlarını oluşturmuşlardır. Tinsellik ise sanatçının bireysel dünyasının merkezinde yer alan, dünya ile kurduğu ilişki ve yaratıcılık sürecinde rol oynayan bir kavram olarak tartışılmaya başlanmıştır. Özellikle 20. yüzyılda dünyayı sarsan savaşlar ve yaşamı etkileyen olumsuzluklar nedeniyle giderek daha fazla iç dünyalarına yönelen sanatçılar için yapıtın temel varlık nedenlerinden biri olmuştur. Bu konuya ilgi duyan sanatçılar ilkel kültürlerin sanatı ve köklü bir geleneğe sahip Doğu sanatında kendilerine büyük bir ilham kaynağı bulmuşlardır. Tezde bu kavramlar tarihsel boyutta tartışılırken Batı ve Doğu sanatı arasında yapılan bazı karşılaştırmalarla konu desteklenmiştir. Bu noktada soyut dışavurumculuk gibi akımların Uzak Doğu sanatıyla teknik ve yöntem açısından ilişkisi incelenmiştir. | dc.description.abstract | As a mental process, abstractionism has been a feature that human beings in the process of perception and information is needed. Therefore, abstractionism has been existing since the beginning of art. But the discussion of abstractionism as a feature of the work of art has been more a result of modernism. The conceptions of abstractionism in the art of painting has manifested itself in different directions. While some artists have been researching the possibilities of color, some artists have created works with different materials and techniques besides traditional techniques. Spirituality had began to be discussed as a concept that has been playing a role in the process of creativity and the relationship with the world, which has been at the center of the individual world of the artist. Especially in the 20th century, because of the wars that shook the world and the negativities that affected life, it had became one of the main reasons of the work of art for the artists who have been increasingly turning to their inner worlds. The artists who have been interested in this subject, had found a great inspiration in the art of primitive cultures and Eastern art with a deep-rooted tradition. In the current thesis, while the concepts have been discussed in the historical dimension, the subject had been supported by some comparisons between Western and Eastern art. At this point, the relationship between Far Eastern art and the technique and method in terms of abstract expressionism have been examined.
