Mavisel Yener'in romanlarında çocuk ve eğitim teması

Çocuk bir toplumun geleceği olduğu için çocukların eğitilmeleri, geleceğe hazırlanmaları, toplum için büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu noktada, çocuk eğitiminde çocuk edebiyatının, önemli bir rolü olduğu ortaya çıkmaktadır. Çünkü çocuk edebiyatı çocukların zevklerine, duygu ve düşüncelerine, büyüme ve gelişmelerine katkı sağlamak için gerçekleştirilen bir edebiyattır.Batıda Aydınlanma Çağı ile birlikte çocuk yazını doğarken bizde çocuk edebiyatının gelişimi Tanzimat Dönemi'yle olmuştur. Tanzimat'tan önce çocuklara yönelik yazılan kitaplarda yazarlar, çocukların seviyelerine inememişlerdir. Tanzimat Dönemi'ndeki çocuk edebiyatı kitapları da çevirilerle sınırlı kalmıştır. Cumhuriyet'in ilanıyla çocuk edebiyatı yazarlarının ve eserlerinin sayısı artmıştır. Bugün de pek çok çocuk yazarı, çocuklar için kitaplar yazmaktadır. Bu yazarlardan biri de Mavisel YENER'dir.Asıl mesleği diş hekimliği olan ve yayın hayatına, çocuklara yazayım diye başlamayan yazar; şiir, öykü, roman ve masaldan oluşan, 49 adet çocuk edebiyatı eseri meydana getirmiştir. Eğitmek ve öğretmek gibi bir çabaya girildiğinde, edebiyatın doğasından uzaklaşılacağına inandığı için hiçbir zaman eğitici olma kaygısı olmamıştır. Onun tek derdi çocuklara ileride okuyacakları iyi yazınsal yapıtların peşine düşebilmeleri için o tadı verebilmektir. Ucu açık metinlerle çocukları düşündürmeyi sevmektedir. Yazara göre, ders kitabı tatsızlığında, öğüt veren kitaplar çocuğun kitapla bağını git gide gevşetecektir. Çocuk kitaplarındaki eğitici yan mutlaka satır aralarına gizlenmiş iletiler biçiminde olmalıdır. Ayrıca işin edebi yanı ve eserlerde dilsel değişkenler asla göz ardı edilmemelidir. Çocuklar için yazarken çocuğun ilgileri, sorunları, dili anlaşılmalıdır. Çünkü çocuk yazını geleceğin edebiyat okurunu yetiştirecektir.

Educating and making the children get prepared for the future is very important fort he society as the child is next generation of the community. At this point, it appears that children?s literature has an important role in child education. Because children?s literature is a kind of literature that is certified to contribute children?s pleasure, sense and thought, growth and development.The progress of children?s literature within us happened with Tanzimat period (the political reforms in 1839 and the time following) while it progressed with Age of enlightment in the west. Authors, on the limited and exhorting book that was intended for children before Tanzimat, did not manage to appeal children?s level in respect to their subjects and contents. Children?s literature books in Tanzimat period also became limited with translations. With the declaration of Republic, the number of children?s literature authors and works of art have increased. Today many children?s authors write books for children. One of these authors is Mavisel YENER.The author (Mavisel YENER), whose real occupation is dentist and who has not started her literature life with the purpose of writing for children, has written 49 children?s literature works consisting of poem, story, novel and tale. The author has never had the anxiety about being didactic, as she believes that you become alienated from the nature of literature while trying to have an effort such as educating and teaching. Her unique purpose is to give children the taste in order for them to go in search of good literary works that they will read in the future. She loves making children think with open-ended texts. According to the author, books always giving advice will lessen children? relationship with books. Educative side in children?s book must be in the hidden prompts between the lines format. Furthermore, the literary side and linguistic changes in the works should never be ignored. While writing for the kids, children?s interests, problems and their language should be understood. Because children?s literature will bring up literature readers of future generations.
