dc.description.abstractHolding a lot of information about the deceased and being a part of cultural heritage, gravestones have become a field of study for various disciplines today. The studies in question ensure that these lost and gone values are preserved and handed down to future generations. In this study, it is aimed to make a contribution to the field by introducing the gravestones situated in the Bandırma Tekke Mosque's Graveyard, located in Haydar Çavuş Neighborhood in the district center of Bandırma, in detail as they have never been separately discussed before. In this regard, 31 gravestones situated in the graveyard surrounded by the courtyard wall in the south of the mosque were photographed, measured, and cataloged in chronological order, with the undated ones situated at the end. 18 gravestones among those belonged to a man, 10 of them belonged to a woman, and 3 of them could not be identified. The date range of the gravestones varies between 1720/1721 and 2008. It was observed that the gravestones, decorated with carvings in conformity with the sense of the art of the period, hold a lot of information about the historical background, and administrative and social status of the region. In this respect, it was understood that they have the nature of shedding light on the history of Bandırma along with their cultural and artistic features
dc.description.abstractÖlen kişiler hakkında birçok bilgiyi barındıran ve kültürel mirasın bir parçası olan mezar taşları, günümüzde farklı disiplinlerin çalışma alanı olmuştur. Yapılan çalışmalar sayesinde yitip giden bu değerlerimizin korunarak gelecek nesillere aktarılması sağlanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada da daha önce tek başına konu edinilmemiş olan, Bandırma ilçe merkezi Haydar Çavuş Mahallesinde yer alan Bandırma Tekke Camii haziresindeki mezar taşları detaylı bir şekilde tanıtılarak alana bir katkı sunulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda, caminin güneyinde avlu duvarıyla kuşatılan haziredeki 31 adet mezar taşının fotoğrafları çekilerek, ölçüleri alınmış ve tarihsiz olanlar sonda yer almak üzere kronolojik sırayla kataloğu yapılmıştır. Bunlardan 18’i erkek, 10’u kadın mezar taşı olup 3’nün ise kimliği belirlenememiştir. Mezar taşlarının tarih aralığı 1720/1721 ile 2008 arasında değişmektedir. Dönemin sanat anlayışına uygun bir şekilde bezemelerle süslenen mezar taşlarının bölgenin tarihi geçmişi, idari ve sosyal durumu hakkında birçok bilgiyi içerdiği görülmüştür. Bu açıdan kültürel ve sanatsal özelliklerinin yanı sıra Bandırma tarihine de ışık tutacak nitelikte oldukları anlaşılmıştır.
