| dc.description.abstract | Yabancı sermayenin küreselleşmenin etkisiyle dünya ekonomisine etkisi büyüktür. Çalışmada detaylı şekilde incelediğimiz doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımları ise ağırlıklı olarak, gelişmiş ülkelerde faaliyet gösteren çok uluslu şirketler tarafından gelişmekte olan ülkelere yapılmaktadır. Çok uluslu şirketlerin gelişmekte olan ülkelere yönelmesinin temel nedenleri, üretim faktör maliyetlerinin uygun olması, uygun işgücü piyasasından yararlanmak ve yeni pazarlarda faaliyet göstermektir. Gelişmekte olan ülkelerde ise yabancı sermaye yatırımlarının ülkeye çekilmesine yönelik birçok politika uygulanmaktadır. Türkiye örneğinde, 1980 ve sonrası dönemde liberalleşmenin etkisiyle yabancı sermaye yatırımlarının ülkeye girişi büyük önem kazanmıştır. İstihdam, teknoloji, ekonomik büyüme ve yeni yönetim anlayışı katkıları sayesinde birçok ülke olumsuz yaklaştığı yabancı sermaye yatırımlarına ilişkin tutumunu değiştirmeye başlamıştır. Bu çalışma, yabancı sermaye yatırımlarının istihdama etkisini açıklamayı amaçlamaktadır. Özellikle doğrudan yabancı yatırımları ile istihdam ilişkisi incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Yabancı sermaye yatırımları ve istihdam türleri, teorik altyapıları ele alınarak tarihsel perspektiften incelenmiş ve verilerle desteklenmeye çalışılmıştır. İstihdam, gelişmekte olan ülkeler için büyük bir sorun niteliği taşımaktadır. İstihdamın arttırılmasında önemli etkiye sahip yabancı sermaye yatırımları desteklenerek iş gücü, üretim faktörlerine dahil edilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Dünyada ve Türkiye'de istihdamı artırmaya yönelik çalışmalar çeşitli kurum ve kuruluşlar tarafından etkin bir biçimde yürütülmektedir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Foreign capital has a great influence on the world economy due to the globalization. The foreign direct investments we focused on this study in detail are usually into developed countries by multinational corporations operating in developing countries. The main reasons why multinational companies on developing countries turn towards the developing countries are appropriate costs of the production factor, taking advantage of appropriate labor market and operating in new markets. On the other hand, in developing countries, many policies are applied to attract the foreign capital investments to their countries. For instance, from 1980 onwards, flowing of the foreign investment into country have become crucial in Turkey due to the liberation. Many countries have become to change their attitudes towards the foreign capital investments from negative to positive because of their contribution to employment, technology, economic growth and new management approaches in the countries. This study aims to explain the effect of foreign capital investments on employment. In particular, the relation between foreign direct investment and employment has been studied in detail. Foreign capital investments and employment types have been examined from the historical perspective with theoretical approach and supported with data. Employment is a major problem for developing countries. Labor force has been incorporating in production factors through supporting the foreign capital investments which have a significant effect on the increase of employment. The efforts to increase employment are carried out effectively by various institutions and organizations not only in Turkey but also throughout the world. | |
