dc.description.abstractWar anecdotes have an important place in humour. The most noticed similarity between war and humour is both of them are related to superiority. Therefore, it is possible to analyze war anecdotes by using "the theory of superiority" which is one of the humour theories. One should consider that the context has an important role in these texts. In this article, war and humour are examined in point of "the theory of superiority".
