| dc.description.abstract | Çevre tüm varlıkların içerisinde etkileşimde bulunduğu ve geleceğin şekillendiği yaşam alanıdır. Bu yaşam alanının gelecek nesillere güvenle aktarılması, canlı hayatının sürekliliğini sağlayacaktır. Sürdürülebilir bir çevre, bizden sonraki nesillere aktarmamız gereken en değerli mirastır. Sürdürülebilir bir çevrenin sağlanması için ileride her biri geleceğimizi şekillendirecek bireyler olmaya aday olan çocukların, çevre konusunda iyi eğitilmesi gerekmektedir. İlkokul öğretmenleri bu noktada, küçük yaşlarda aşılanması gereken çevre koruyucu tavır ve tutumları öğrencilere kazandırmakta kilit rol oynamaktadır. Gelecek nesillerimizin bilinçli ve çevreye karşı daha duyarlı olması için ilkokul öğretmenlerine büyük sorumluluklar düşmektedir. Bu çalışmada ilkokul öğretmenlerinin çevreye yönelik tutumları ele alınmıştır. Çevreye yönelik tutum; insanların çevreye bakış açılarını, çevre hakkında sahip oldukları bilgi birikimini, çevresel sorunlarının farkında olma durumlarını ve çevre sorunlarıyla karşılaştıklarında bu sorunlarla baş edebilme kapasitelerini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada Tuncer, Ertepınar, Tekkaya ve Sungur (2005) tarafından geliştirilen; çevre sorunları farkındalığı, çözüme yönelik tutumlar, bireysel sorumluluk bilinci ve ulusal çevre problemleri farkındalığını ortaya koyan dört alt boyuttan Çevresel Tutum Ölçeği (ÇTÖ) kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı; ilkokul öğretmenlerinin çevreye yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek ve bu sayede gelecek nesillerin çevreye bakış açılarını iyileştirmek, çevre konusunda daha bilinçli olmalarını sağlamak ve sürdürülebilir çevre sağlamak adına önemli adımlar atmaktır. | dc.description.abstract | Environment is the living space where all beings interact and the future is shaped. The transfer of this living space to future generations will ensure the continuity of its live life. A sustainable environment is the most valuable heritage that we must pass on to the next generations. In order to provide a sustainable environment, children who are candidates to become individuals who will shape our future in the future should be well educated about the environment. Primary school teachers play a key role in gaining environmentally protective attitudes and attitudes that need to be teached at young ages. Primary school teachers have great responsibilities for our future generations to be conscious and more sensitive to the environment. In this study, the attitudes of primary school teachers towards the environment are discussed. Environmental attitude; it aims to reveal people's perspectives on the environment, their knowledge about the environment, their awareness of environmental problems and their capacity to cope with these problems when they encounter environmental problems. In this research, developed by Tuncer, Ertepınar, Tekkaya and Sungur (2005); the Environmental Attitude Scale (ETS) was used in four sub-dimensions that demonstrate environmental awareness, attitude towards solution, awareness of individual responsibility and awareness of national environmental problems. The purpose of this study; is to determine the attitudes of primary school teachers towards the environment and thus, to improve the environmental perspectives of the future generations, to make them more conscious about the environment and to take important steps to provide a sustainable environment.
