dc.description.abstractHealth and safety are very important concepts for individuals. Especially in the tourism sector, the health and safety conditions of individuals should be secured. This study covers the investigation of the effects of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Epidemic on the tourism sector in Çanakkale. Discourse analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, has been used in the study. In particular, the news in the local and national press within the scope of the theme "the effects of the Covid-19 Epidemic on tourism stakeholders in Çanakkale" have been analyzed. As a result of the analyzes have carried out; it has been determined that the activities of tourism establishments almost have stopped due to the epidemic; investors, operators and employees have been adversely affected economically, there has been a large-scale contraction in the tourism sector, recreational activities have been cancelled and tourism operators have had problems to paying their debts. In addition, ongoing recreation and tourism activities; it has been determined that a new shape has been given by adding rules such as the necessity of masks, social distance and outdoor performance. Then recommendations are presented
dc.description.abstractSağlık ve güvenlik, bireyler için önemli kavramlardır. Özellikle turizm sektöründe, bireylerin sağlık ve güvenlik durumlarının güvence altına alınması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışma, son yıllarda küresel çapta tüm sektörleri etkisi altına alan Koronavirüs (Covid-19) Salgını’nın turizm sektörüne etkilerinin Çanakkale özelinde incelenmesini kapsamaktadır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan söylem analizi yöntemine başvurularak, “Covid-19 Salgını’nın Çanakkale’deki turizm paydaşlarına etkileri” teması kapsamında yerel ve ulusal basında yer bulan haberler analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler neticesinde; salgın dolayısıyla turizm işletmelerinin faaliyetlerinin durma noktasına geldiği; yatırımcıların, işletmecilerin ve çalışanların ekonomik açıdan sıkıntılı bir döneme girdikleri, turizm sektöründe büyük çaplı bir daralma görüldüğü, rekreasyon etkinliklerinin iptal edildiği ve turizm işletmecilerinin borçlarını ödeme hususunda sorun yaşadıkları tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca devam eden rekreasyon ve turizm etkinliklerine; maske zorunluluğu, sosyal mesafe ve açık havada gerçekleştirilme gibi kurallar eklenerek yeni bir biçim verildiği saptanmıştır. Son olarak, elde edilen sonuçlarla beraber öneriler sunulmuştur.
