dc.description.abstractÇalışmada, lokal olarak izole edilen bir mikroalg türünün çimento fabrikası baca gazı ve saf karbon dioksit (CO2) kullanılması suretiyle havuz ve panel fotobiyoreaktörde büyütülmesi değerlendirildi. Ayrıca türün yağ asit kompozisyonu da belirlenmiştir. Deneme sonunda en iyi büyüme, baca gazı ile büyütülen açık havuz kültürlerinde görüldü. Genel olarak, saf CO2 ile büyütülen kültürlerde toplam yağ miktarı baca gazı ile büyütülenlere nazaran daha yüksekti. Baca gazı mikroalg türünün büyümesi üzerine olumsuz bir etki göstermedi. Ayrıca kurutma yönteminin de yağ asit kompozisyonu üzerinde önemli etkiye sahip olduğu anlaşıldı. Dondurarak kurutma yöntemi uygulanan örneklerde çoklu doymamış yağ asitleri miktarı, 50 ºC'de etüvde kurutulan örneklere göre daha yüksekti.
dc.description.abstractIt was aimed in the study that the growth of a locally isolated microalgal strain in a pond and panel photobioreactor by either the flue gas of a cement company or pure carbon dioxide (CO2) was assessed. In addition, the fatty acids composition of the strain was determined. The best growth was seen in the open pond cultures grown with the flue gas. Generally, total lipid amount of the culture grown with pure CO2 was higher compared to the one grown with the flue gas. The flue gas did not have any negative effect on the growth of the microalgal strain. Moreover, it was understood that drying method had a significant effect on the fatty acids composition. Polyunsaturated fatty acids were higher in the samples of freeze-dryer compared to oven samples dried at 50 ºC.
