dc.description.abstractÖncelikle Batı Anadolu?daki mezar tipolojisine genel hatlarıyla değinilerek Assos Batı Nekropolü?nde sıklıkla görülenler üzerinde, diğer yakın nekropollerle de karşılaştırmak suretiyle sınıflandırmaya gidilmiştir. Batı Anadolu?daki ölü gömme geleneklerinin de incelenmesinden sonra yine Assos Batı Nekropolü?nde görülen geleneklere indirgeme yapılmıştır. Bu örnekler Antandros Melis Nekropolü, Parion Nekropolü ve Tenedos Nekropolü gibi Assos? a yakın ve birinci dereceden ilişkili merkezlerle kıyaslanmış ve bir takım sonuçlar çıkarılmıştır. Çalışmamızda, çoğunluğu Çanakkale Arkeoloji Müzesi envanterinde kayıtlı olan 233 adet seramik, pişmiş toprak figürin, sikke, cam, maden, taş, fayans ve kemik eserlerden oluşan buluntuların değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Bu değerlendirmelerden çizimleriyle birlikte bir katalog oluşturulmuştur. Sonuç kısmında ise buluntuların dönemlere göre şekillenmesi, yoğunluk derecesi, buluntuların dönemlere göre sayısal dağılımı, dönemin modası ve gelenekleri, kremasyon ve inhumasyon kavramlarının mezar tiplerine etkisi, ölü kültüyle ya da ölünün günlük yaşamı ile ilişkileri, kullanılan objelerin üretim teknikleri, yerel ve ithal üretimler açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır.
dc.description.abstractFirst of all, by touching upon the typology of West Anatolian burials in general terms, the ones which have been frequently seen in Assos West Necropolis, and by comparing them to other near Necropolises, classification is based. After investigating the funeral customs in West Anatolia, a reduction has been made to funeral customs of Assos West Necropolis. These examples have been compared to Antandros Melis Necropolis, Parion Necropolis and Tenedos Necropolis which are both close and first degree relevant to Assos West Necropolis and some consequences have been obtained. In this study the evaluation of 233 pieces of ceramic, terracotta figurins, coin, glass, metal, stone, tile and bone artifacts have been done and most of those items were registered in Çanakkale Archeological Museum?s inventory. These evaluations were made a catalog with their drawings. In the consequence part, shaping the findings according to periods, degree of density, finding?s quantitative distribution according to periods, style and customs of perod, effects of cremation and inhumation to types of burials, the relationship of death cult and dead?s daily life relations, having been used objects? production tecniques, local and export products have been tried to be explained.
