Human resources management is a business function which gains importance and is increasingly used. Human resources management is one of the most important business functions in adjustment of staff and organization. In addition, it serves to better job satisfaction of employees. In order to achieve objectives and strategies set, organizations depend on enough number of productive, qualified and consistent employees. This is accomplished only through an efficient human resources management. In this study, human resources management activities conducted by organizations in Amasya and surrounding provinces of Turkey were evaluated. Present status was established and some suggestions were made.
